Do not go gentle into that good night,

老人在白晝將盡應燃燒與咆哮;

Old age should burn and rave at close of day;

Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

"Do not go gentle into that good night" - Dylan Thomas

(Do not go gentle into that good night)》。

主要位於瑞典的卡洛洛林斯卡研究所的五位學者,1997 年發表在《Nature Medicine》的 review 論文《Nitric oxide and inflammation: the answer is blowing in the wind》開始,陸續將巴布.

「What then is so special about Bob Dylan? Eddie Weitzberg thinks he merits a Nobel prize for Literature...」,不知道 Eddie Weitzberg 當年這樣講,是不是認真的......

Here comes the story of the Dylan fans

早在 1970 年,《Journal of Practical Nursing》期刊就出現第一篇《The times they are a’changin》,這時湯馬斯小粉絲剛出道 8 年。

The times they are a'changin'.

第一名不意外,被使用最多次的是「The Times They are a-Changin」,常常被用於期刊的社論標題,出現 135 次;第二名則是「Blowin’ in the Wind」,被用過 36 次。

有一些是變形版,例如「Like a Rolling Stone」,在一篇 epigenetic 的論文中變成標題:「Like a rolling histone」。

還有這種二合一版本:「Blood on the tracks: a simple twist of fate?」。《Blood on the Tracks》1975 年發表,有些人視為巴布.

We are led to Believe a Lie

When we see not Thro the Eye

Which was Born in a Night to perish in a Night

When the Soul Slept in Beams of Light.

"Auguries of Innocence" -  William Blake

Every Grain Of Sand(音樂)

The Academy’s permanent secretary Sara Danius described Dylan’s songs as “poetry for the ears”. She told reporters in Stockholm: “Bob Dylan is a great poet in the large English-language tradition, from William Blake onwards.
